Proofreading at QP / Improvements on this blog....

Last night, I went to QP glorietta to check out our invitations. I was happy naman with the results although there are some errors in it. The spelling of the name of paul's mom is not right, one of the phone numbers in the RSVP is not right as well and they did not put the "we have reserved __ seats for you". Other than that everything is ok. I just requested to change the lay out and put "to clothe us as one... etc." instead of "veil sponsors". They work fast too. I could have waited for the revisions coz they can do it daw in less than one hour but I still have a meeting to attend kaya I told them I'll come back today. Grabe! This is it!

I've made a lot of progress in using this blog. I'm just happy with my accomplishments. Was able to put the date and time, pictures in our profile and pictures for flickr. I was able to change also the colors in the tag board. And I did it all by myself!! Hehehe! I know it's not much but I'm just happy coz I did not ask anymore from friends on how to go about it. Was able to put them where I want them and how I want them to look. I'm still thinking of putting sounds but Paul said that it might affect the speed when accessing the page kaya might not do it anymore.

Holy week, westin and my first session at gold’s gym

Time flies so fast. Vacation is again over and we’re back to reality. My sister, my brother’s family, and myself checked in at westin last holy Wednesday. We really had a great time there and swam till we get tired. I just noticed while we were swimming that there was a couple who were having their prenups at the poolside, sayang lang di ko kilala yung photographer nila. And I remembered when we had our prenups too at the fort. Ang sarap ng feeling!

I was looking forward to holy week last week coz I get to pray (not that I don’t pray), but also to offer my own share of sacrifice and time with God. At the same time, I was looking forward to holy week because of the vacation, meaning I can spend time preparing for the wedding. I started with my assignment with benz and I’m almost done. 2 sheets of paper to go then I can send it to benz na. Lagot na ako kay mama benz! Tagal na non eh! After that I also started with our misallette. I’m not done with it yet but I’m sure glad I was able to start na din.

Yesterday, I had my first session at gold’s gym. It was really fun for a first timer like me. We started with the treadmill then some other equipment, then dumbbells, crunches and back to the treadmill. It was tiring but it was really fun. Can’t wait for my next session…. Hope by the time I’m done, I can wear a two pc bathing suit for our honeymoon. :)

trip to QP / my wedding gown....

after many "pangungulit" from my mom (since we're not sure when in april aalis yung tita ko for the states), i finally went to QP for our invitation. kaka-praning pala to choose the one you like, from fonts, to style, to the design, to everything. i don't have that much patience in choosing so i just chose the one in their album. after that the girl showed me naman wordings. from "with gratitude to our parents, Mr and Mrs. ... we, paul and toni... would like to invite you to...."; another option is, "with thanksgiving to God and blessings from our parents, Mr. and Mrs... we, paul and toni, would like to ...... (i can't remember na! shocks!) and a lot more to choose from. but i chose the second one. i just can't remember what was written. hehehe! i left the sample at home kasama nung contract. pati name sa envelope may options din, from silver to gold to embossed something... dami choices!!! hehehe! proofreading is scheduled next week and if there are no errors, i can get the invitations na on the 3rd week of april. i just hope that there are no errors when i get next week so that we can meet the target date.

side kwento pa, cecil (my designer) called me yesterday to confirm our fitting schedule. my ento will have their first fitting on april 2, tapos he'll get naman the measurement of our flower girls. then he informed me na ok na daw gown ko and i can fit it again kasabay nila! HUWAT!!! i was really happy to know na ok na gown ko but at the same time, panic din coz on my first fitting cecil told me to go to the gym para mag-firm yung back ko para mas maganda daw yung bagsak ng gown. eh kaka-enroll ko pa lang sa gym and i haven't even started yet. besides i think i gained weight pa. sarap kumain eh! tapos cecil noticed yata na nagpanic ako and he asked me if i gained weight ba. sabi ko i don't know. ngiii!!! so sabi niya, check na lang namin sa fitting. haayyy... good luck sa kin. :)

countdown, my first wedding update, atbp

As usual, i'm editing again this blog and was able to put the countdown successfully... thanks again to my fellow w@wies for the help. Looking at the countdown, I realized that we have 89 days left before the big day! I wish I could have started this blog way back when we were starting with the wedding preparations so that I have more updates to put here. But the big day hasn't come yet so I still have more to put in this blog.

After work this afternoon, I went to QP for our invitation. My mom has been asking me to order our invites for I have an aunt who will be leaving for the states this april. We need to give her the invitations so that she can send it to some of our relatives there. Paul and I already decided on the design so it didn't take me a long time talking to the girl. She told me that if I place my order tomorrow, I can get the proofread on the 31st and if there are no errors, I can get the final output on April 18. Wow! That sounds really exciting!!! I just need to call our priest to ask for his full name to be included in the invitation.

Right now, I'm encoding the names of the other soon-to-weds who got a copy of The Primer last expo. It's been three weeks since the wedding expo and I'm not done yet with encoding. Lagot kay Mama Benz. I noticed that there are other couples who needs to attend handwriting 101. Some are not easy to read at all!!! Mama benz, i found an excuse na! hehehe! Pero promise, I'll finish it this Holy Week. :)

Our blog still doesnt' have a picture. Looks like I'll be busy in the office again tom... hehehe! till my next post.

Accomplishments

I'm just happy that I made a lot of accomplishments in this blog. So far I was able to link weddings at work and some of my suppliers here (after many trial and errors) all in one day! hehehe! Next thing to learn is the countdown to the wedding day and posting of pictures. This is gonna be fun!!!

Learning to use blog

Using this blog is not easy. Today I've decided to change my template for I'm having difficulty designing the last one I had. I've successfully linked some of my w@wie friends (thanks to grace and mhay) and the tag-board as well. I know this blog needs a lot of editing to do and a lot of learning on my side. I have lots of ideas on my mind but I don't know how to execute it. Will be needing a lot of help from friends. :)

I'm starting to have fun with this blog, I just wish I know how to edit it and make it look the way I wanted it to look. Well, I still have time to learn....

My First Post

At last, i found time to post in this blog. We created this a few months back but i never found the time to post here. First reason is that I don't know how to use this thing. hehehe! and second is that i can't find time to write here. The blogs of my friends inspired me to continue with this blog kaya from now on, i promised myself to use this blog for updates on our wedding preparations and on other things. Watch out for it.... till my next post. :)
