Tadeo Outing

My FIL left for the states to migrate last Tuesday, so before he left, we decided to go out for swimming so that Dad will be with his apos and at the same time enjoy pa mga kids. We went to Dlagoon Resort at Morong, Rizal last Saturday. Grabe! Ang layo pala ng Morong, it took me 2 hrs to get there considering na sa Marikina na ko galing. Feeling ko lahat ng bayan ng Rizal nadaanan ko, from Cainta, Taytay, Angono, Binangonan, Cardona and finally Morong. Whew! Buti na din lang at hindi traffic, medyo mabagal din lang kasi yung takbo ko. Don’t wanna drive fast kasi dala ko si Lance.

Anyway, ok naman yung place. Big na din siya for family outing considering na we’re just 9 adults, 3 toddlers and 1 infant at kami lang tao don, plus mura lang rates nila. I was also able to swim (yehey!) kahit 2 hrs lang. Don’t wanna stay in the pool so long even if I want to kasi I’ll be attending a wedding pa next month and ayokong maging nognog. Hehe! Kahit malayo yung place, sulit yung outing because we were able to spend time with dad and the kids really enjoyed it, and yun yung priceless. When you hear the kids laugh because of joy, kakatuwa! Si Lance, di ko muna pina-swim, saka na lang pag medyo mas malaki na siya, feeling ko baby pa masyado eh. If ever we’ll swim again and mga 10 months na siya, pwede na siguro. :)

The Ramos Reunion

Last Easter Sunday, April 8, the Ramos Family had a reunion in Batangas. I became a Ramos through my grandma on my mother’s side. It was really good to see relatives, some of which I haven’t seen for quite some time and others I often see but I didn’t know that they were my relatives. Hehe! My grandma has 11 siblings so you could imagine how many of us were there in the reunion. I think we were around 300+. We had a parade (under the heat of the sun), introduction per family then games. It was fun! And I’m sure all of us had a great time, knowing one another and spending time with each other. :)

Here are some of lance’s 6 months pic. And some of them shows na mukha siyang girl. Ngii! :) We often tie his hair kasi sobrang lago pero nung nag mukha siyang girl, sabi ko huwag na lang ulitin, hehe! Kahit yung sa taas na lang yung i-tie para di lang siya maduling. :)

Adtel Summer Outing

We had our annual summer outing last March 24 at white rock beach hotel. Our van got there at 10am and some of my officemates were already swimming, playing volleyball or badminton. And some were just relaxing at the hammock and cabanas, while others were singing their hearts out to the rented videoke player.

Highlight of the outing was the bikini open contest we held for the boys. The winner was also our winner during the Christmas party last year when he dressed up as Manny Pacquiao, and now he’s Manay Pacquiao. Hehe!

I heard from co-employees that they enjoyed this year’s summer outing. I too enjoyed it and we had a good time aside from the fact that I was able to swim again. Ang saya! Hehehe!

We went to blow-up-babies last week for his quarterly schedule of pictorial (naks! parang artista! haha!). We're supposed to have 3 set-ups but unfortunately, we haven't started yet with the first set-up, lance started crying na. Ayun, i carried him until he stopped crying. We also have no choice but to change the set-up. Kaya we just have one pic na lang. Next time na lang yung other two set-ups pag he's in the mood na. Medyo nangingilala na din kasi si lance and he's not familiar with the photographer's voice kaya siguro he cried. I hope next time, we'll have nicer pics. I like this one though kahit medyo sad siya. :)

And so it happened...

Lance fell from the bed this morning. I just blogged about it the other day that I should be careful now that he rolls over na easily. Ayun, he fell from the bed this morning! I was sleeping pa when I heard a thump then a loud cry. Ayun, he fell na pala from the bed. :(

I immediately carried him and checked if he has lump or if he’s hurting on any part of his body. Poor lance, he was so cold and was sweating. But he stopped crying na as soon as I carried him. I also texted his pedia and my boss to ask what to do. They just told me to observe him and see if he vomits and also to put on ice.

When I left the house, he seems ok na. He still rolls over, smiles a lot and he also plays with his toys. He too just finished his bath and was sleeping na when I left. I do hope he’s ok. I just need to observe if there are changes in him and most of all, I need to be more careful now so that it won’t happen again. Some people say that it really happens, but still we don’t want our babies to get hurt di ba! Now I need to baby proof our room!

My Wish List

I turned 30 last month and I realized I was not able to make a wish list. These are some of the things that I’d like to have or would like to do. Like they say, it’s better late than never so here it goes (*not in order):

1. Spa (I can’t remember the last time I had one!)
2. Time with Paul (he was here for 2 ½ weeks during the Chinese new year but those were not enough, I really miss him)
3. Time with Lance (I only get to play and take care of him full time on weekends, he’s often asleep na when I get home from work on weekdays)
4. Travel / family vacation (siguro if Lance is more than 1 year old na)
5. DSLR!!!
6. And as soon as I have a DSLR, attend a photography 101 class.
7. Hard bound Harry Potter books (I only have 1 hard bound, HP6)
8. Get back to my pre-pregnancy weight (need to lose 10lbs pa)
9. Dive (and be certified!)
10. Finish my Black Belt Six Sigma Project
11. Learn digiscrapping (wish ko lang magkaron ako ng art sa katawan so that I can do this!)
12. Time for marathon watching of grey’s anatomy (di ako updated :( )
13. New set of clothes (the one’s I have now are boring!)
14. Laptop
15. Internet connection at home (there’s no facility available for PLDT and Globe and we just applied for Smart Bro but they haven’t visited our house yet)

These are just the ones on top of my mind, I’m sure I have a lot pa. Hopefully I can achieve them one by one. :)

First Time

Lance turned 6 months last march 27 and according to his pedia, he’s now ready to eat solid foods. So last Saturday, I tried to feed him with Cerelac. It’s so funny because Lance does not want to open his mouth. But after awhile, I don’t know if it’s because he liked the taste or he just wants the spoon because he cries whenever I remove the spoon from his mouth. He was able to eat half of the food I prepared for him then I gave him milk and water na. I now have to prepare food to give him for the following days. I was thinking of mashed potatoes, carrots, apple and banana. Looks like I need to ask around and read articles on what food to give him. This is going to be fun!

He’s also trying to crawl now, though most of the time, he’s moving pero backwards. Hehe! And I’m scared to leave him alone because he can fall from the bed na. He can now roll over easily and can go around in circles and getting to the edge of the bed. I sometimes put a lot of pillows so that he won’t fall.

And he’s also ready for summer! I bought shades from the store last week and here he is wearing it.
