Yet one of the few things we’d like our home to have is an alarm system. It may seem costly at first, but in exchange for that, you do get added security and piece of mind for your family. I guess at one time or another you have had the question on whether or not you locked the door on the way out. Stuff like that can really be worrisome, especially if you’re out for long periods of time. There are different kinds of alarm systems, depending on your need. There’s the basic that just sounds off an alarm when tripped, to the high tech that are professionally monitored 24 hours a day. They could even inform you if an alarm has been activated. And that doesn’t only cover intruders but also medical and fire emergencies. It would really be helpful if not important to have an alarm system monitoring your home.

… for taking care of me especially now that I’m pregnant; buying whatever food I want to eat and making sure that I have what I need.
… for taking care of Lance and playing with him for I can’t do that often since I get tired easily.
… for taking a leave from work to take care of me when I was advised to go on bed rest.
… for waking up at night whenever Lance wakes up and wants to be transferred to our bed.
… for giving him milk when he needs one and for letting me sleep on your side of the bed so that I won’t be disturbed by Lance when he’s with us in the bed na.
… for doing the tasks for paid posts since I’m too lazy to do anything.
… for waking up early and playing with Lance even if you are still sleepy so that I can sleep more.
There are so many things to be thankful for. That’s all I can think of for now. Thanks honey for everything! Love you! :)
It’s the time of the year again to make payments on my insurance. It may seem costly (well, it is) but it does have its benefits. Your beneficiaries would be provided well no matter what. Also, when you get hospitalized the insurance company would be the one who would shoulder the expenses. Everyone would need that, especially for older people. That’s what I suggested to my dad the other day when he called. He’ll be turning 65 in about 3 more years, making him eligible for Medicare. He can also supplement that through medicare insurance. There are several more options for that like long term care, dental insurance, even travel insurance when he needs it. This can come in really handy.

You do not have to be tagged to play along. This game is simple and so are the rules.
1. Copy from *Start Copy Here* through *End Copy Here*
2. Add your site(s) to the list. Just be sure to post at each site you add.
3. Tag or don’t tag, your choice, however, the more tags you create the bigger the list will grow.
4. Let me know your blog’s name and URL by leaving me a comment. I will add you to the master list. (In my blog’s case wherein I’ve disabled the comment’s box, leave it on the shoutbox .)
5. Come back and copy the master list back to your site, often. This process will allow late-comers to get as much link benefit as the first ones in.

I have written a few articles about makeovers for our house. Yeah you can find some great deals out there, but what’s a better deal than buying direct from the manufacturer? And to add to that, buying at manufacturer price? Directbuy is a showroom and home design center that lets its members purchase brand-name merchandise at manufacturer prices. That’s huge savings considering that the average retail sales markup for home furnishings can reach up to 43%. It’s never been so easy buying direct from the manufacturer. Usually you’d have to wait for special factory sales to buy at low cost, but not anymore. It’s the same top-quality brand-name furniture backed with the manufacturer’s warranty. So if you’re planning on getting new furniture anytime soon, go check this out.
The picture was taken at El Nido during our honeymoon. Wish I can go back to that size. hehe!

Most girls love to wear jewelries. And we also love receiving them from loved ones, right? I for one was so happy when Paul gave me earrings to go with my engagement ring. I felt so special! I always wear it when I go to work together with my engagement and wedding ring. And sometimes I wore a bracelet too. I haven’t worn though a gold anklet. I haven’t really tried wearing one since most of the time I wear pants and I fear that I’ll just lose it. Maybe I’ll try to wear one when I’m wearing a skirt and see if it looks good on me.
I just heard from my brother about some changes that his brother-in-law would be experiencing due to some unforeseen incidents the past few days. I wouldn’t go into details, if you don’t mind. Anyway, he’s staying in
I’m currently in the market for new nimh batteries for our aging digital camera. It’s just your regular point-and-shoot camera, nothing fancy really. We’ve had it for about 5 years now. It would be nice to have a new digital camera but with the recent developments we have, that’s nowhere near our top priorities. I mean it still does its job well. As long as we can take pictures with it then transfer it to our PC, well and good.
I was just watching a special episode of Top Gear the other day. In this episode, two of the hosts were racing a third host to the 1996 magnetic North Pole (apparently, it drifts!). The pair was using a pickup truck and the third a dog sled. Of course, ordinary vehicles wouldn’t stand endeavors like this. It would need special equipment to survive such an ordeal. And that’s exactly what they did. They equipped the pickup truck with huge tires to be able to traverse the fjords and gaps on the ice, huge fender flares for the tires, winches that they had to use in several occasions, and a lot of other items that made the trip possible, if not survivable. It only shows that with the right truck and auto accessories, you can equip your ride to go just about anywhere. In case you were wondering who won the race, it was the team with the pickup truck. A little unorthodox but they got the job done.
Now that baby number two is here, Toni and I would have to work extra hard for our children’s future. Okay it may seem like it’s a little bit too early to think about that, but if you come to think of it, it’s never really too early. The rising cost of goods doesn’t help either. Anyway, another way of saving that Toni and I did was get life insurance. It may not seem like really saving on something if you pay out something over a period of time but it can actually pay for itself. If something was to happen to any one of us, heaven forbid, we know that we’d be getting something from it and our children would be spared from a difficult life. If all goes well and we wouldn’t need that until the insurance matures, we’d still be getting something from it for it acts like bank where you just deposit your money and withdraw it at a later time. We each had a term life insurance quote made for us and we were able to have made tailor-made to suit our budget. It might be daunting because some will have a multitude of options and riders but that’s what makes it customizable. So if you guys don’t have life insurance yet, I suggest you go get one. Go check out the quotes from several insurance companies so you could compare them side-by-side to determine which is best for you.
Our membership at blow up babies expired last September pa and I haven’t renewed until now. I’m still thinking if I’m going to renew it pa or not anymore. We still have one paid photo session left na we can’t claim kasi expired na nga membership, sayang din naman. Tapos pa, I’m thinking if I’m going to renew my membership now na, pano na si baby #2. Unfair naman sa kanya kung he/she won’t have the same sessions nung kay Lance. I’m thinking baka pwedeng we’ll just pay for the photo session so that we can claim Lance’s last part of the package tapos mag-member na lang ako ulit if I’m about to give birth na para we can avail of their first year package. What do you think?
It really feels great receiving awards from fellow bloggers, and that my small nook here in the blogging world has readers. hehe! Thanks again!
I'd like to pass on the award to Joey, Kathy, Mitch and Norm
So last Wednesday, I had my trans-v at the Medical City in Marikina since it's just walking distance from where we live. And that little image you can see at the pic is our baby #2. It's really such a joy! Lalo na when we saw his heartbeat and the sonologist told us that our baby is doing ok. Tapos pa, what's even better is that Paul was with me during the ultrasound. During Lance's time kasi, Paul was still in Taiwan, so most of the time, I'm alone whenever I visit the OB or whenever I', schedule for an ultrasound. Pero this time, he's with me na kaya ang saya!
Tapos pa, when we saw baby #2's due date, it's the same as Lance's due date. Hehe! Galing no! Although I gave birth to Lance earlier than the date since I was induced. Our OB nga was asking me if I want to give birth on the same day as Lance's birthday. Parang ayoko although I haven't asked Paul about it pa. Bahala na. :)
I remember some people here in our country still looks for gold. They said that there are some gold/treasures hidden here in our country that are still not discovered. Some people tried looking for it but did not find any, so I wonder if that is true.
Anyway, my friend told me that I should look for trusted companies to purchase gold like Monex Deposit Company. This company has been
Some of you might have heard of making a car donation to people or charitable institutions to get a tax break from the government. This can be a substantial deduction on your taxes. My father-in-law is one of the most fortunate people to receive a car. His brother gave him one of his older cars to get a tax deduction. So if you have a car, boat, plane, house, or RV, you can contact CarAngel to get a tax deduction from IRS. No need to look for buyers. They’ll even handle the title transfer so that’s even less things to worry about. You might think “How would donating vehicles help people out?” Well, they enable you to use your vehicle to help those in need, like single mothers, homeless, teen and adult rehab, food distribution and orphans. Car Angel (www.carangel.com) is a non-profit organization. They use donations like cars and other vehicles to make videos for teens and children. To date, they have already given away more than 2.4 million videos. Here’s a link to one of their videos: boatangel
(1) That there is a God and they should put Him at the center of their lives.
(2) That Paul and I love them no matter what
(3) That if ever we scold them, it doesn't mean that we are really mad at them but that we want them to learn what's good and bad because we love them.
(4) That they should not be slaves of money. Money is a necessity but they should learn how to use it wisely. And that whatever they want, they should work hard for it.
(5) That education is really important so they should value it.
I'd like to ask the same questions to some more mommies: Bang, Mhay, Jane, Apols, Amore.
