… people here at work are playing word factory. As in they eat fast so that they’ll have more time to play. Sometimes I join in the game if I’m done with my lunch and have nothing else to do. And I have this officemate who often gets a low score or no score at all and one colleague offered to buy her a Starbucks coffee just to motivate her to find more words and win at least one round. So far she won a few already. I guess the coffee is a good motivation. Hehe!
Last Saturday, we went to my OB for my check up and she told me that I’m 2cm dilated already and that if I want to give birth yesterday, I must drink Castor Oil to trigger contractions since it will make me poop. I did not buy it yet last Saturday and just continued walking as one option. But last night, I took castor oil hoping to give birth today. So while waiting for more frequent and stronger contractions, I decided to go online now and finish my task and write something about online trading. Hope I’ll give birth today or if not tomorrow so that I’ll be home before Saturday for Lance’s 2nd birthday. Please pray for a safe delivery for me. Thanks! :)

You’ll always find me logged in on these three sites. These three normally eats up my time at work. Haha! I’m currently addicted to plurk, I registered just last week and it’s now part of my daily schedule. That even now I’m writing about Garmin GPS I’m still plurking. Hehe! I like it because I get to talk to my friends and catch up with them in case I wasn’t online when they were chatting. With twitter, I get to talk to some friends too who doesn’t have an account with plurk. And with YM, I’ve been using this for several years already and this is where I get to talk to my cousins residing abroad. This also helps if I need to show something to my parents since they live near my cousin’s house. These three makes my day, hehe!

As I blogged previously, Paul is leaving again for Germany next month. I remember during his last trip to Europe, he was telling me that he hardly drank water when they were there because restaurants always serve wine. That sometimes he felt groggy at the end of the day because of too much wine. It made me think that since they love wine, they may even have a wine of the month club to feature different wines. Oh well, I’m sure Paul will once again get a taste of their wine when he goes there.
I was not able to take a picture of what's inside our fridge so i'll just list them down here and like eds, it's empty too hahaha!. We're scheduled to go to the market this coming weekend pa. Anyway, here's what's inside our fridge as far as I can remember.
Frozen Products – Meat, Chicken, Fish Hotdogs, French fries, Fish balls Veggies Chocolates (hindi nawawalan nito sa ref hehe!) Left over foods Eggs, chuckie, nestle melon Catsup, pancake syrup, etc Water and coke hehe! I think that’s everything.
Paul told me that he might go to Germany next month to attend a training sponsored by their office. He’s just waiting for the invitation letter from their office in Germany so that he can apply for a visa. Their travel agent was asked to look for good and affordable flight deals for this trip. I think he’ll be there for two weeks and I’m going to miss him. I’m sure Lance is going to miss him too. He always asks for his dad when he wakes up in the morning and finds out that his dad left for work already. I just tell Lance that his daddy will be back soon and he’ll just smile at me. Anyhow, I better start looking for clothes for Paul for this trip since its cold in Germany when he goes there. :)
Paul and I are very careful now with our expenses especially with the coming of baby Hannah. We had our budgeting and planning discussion to know how to handle our finances properly. I listed down the monthly expenses which consists of payment for utilities, milk for Lance (I’m still hoping I’ll be successful with breastfeeding Hannah), diapers for Lance and Hannah, immunization, our food and other grocery items, nanny’s salary, etc. Then I listed down our monthly income and set aside a certain amount for our savings. I just hope we’ll be able to follow our set budget and won’t have extra expenses. Good luck to us!
I think this is the first time I joined the round up. :)Join us!
For the week of September 8 to 14
Monday – Took a half day leave from work for my check up. Went to mass for Mama Mary’s bday. I blogged about it here.
Tuesday – Paul went to Pampanga for work. I went to work. After work, I joined in the everyday walk at UP with my officemates.
Wednesday – Went to work again. I was robbed on my way home. Kwento here.
Thursday – went to work again. Went to the bank to ask for replacement of my ATM.
Friday – went on half day leave again to withdraw money from the bank. No more money since my wallet was stolen plus I don’t have my atm yet kaya and I need money. J Paul went back from Pampanga. :)
Saturday – went to the hospital for my ultrasound. My EDD has moved again from Sept 29 to Oct 5. Separate kwento about this in my next post. Will have my check up pa tomorrow since my OB did not have clinic yesterday because she has fever.
Sunday – woke up early to hear the 7:30am mass then just stayed home lang. Paul and I were suppose to go to Makati since glorietta is on sale but did not push through anymore. We’d rather stay home, rest and bond with Lance. :)
One thing I love most about Christmas is the atmosphere of the people. It’s as if they don’t have problems and all are in good mood. I also love the christmas lights and the displays on the buildings. Of course who wouldn't love bonuses that can be used for christmas shopping. But most of all, I love the get-together of families celebrating the birth of our saviour. :)
Hayy.. first time nangyari sa kin to and kakatrauma din pala. I was on my way home last night when it happened. I normally commute naman to work so last night was no different. Here’s what happened:
I left the office at 6pm then rode a jeep to anonas/aurora. At that time I know my wallet, coin purse and cell phone are still in my bag. I was able to pay pa my fare sa jeep. Then I went down na sa may anonas and walked towards QCMC. Crossed the street (aurora) and walked again and hailed an fx. That’s when I learned I was robbed. My bag was open na and ayun, my wallet, coin purse and cell phone are all gone. Grabe! Ang galing and ang bilis nung magnanakaw. I never noticed na nabuksan yung bag ko and never din naman akong nag stop sa paglakad after ko bumaba ng jeep. Kakagulat talaga! Buti na lang yung guy beside me was kind enough to pay for my fare sa fx. I was crying habang nasa fx. Kakagulat kasi eh and feeling ko di na naawa sa kin yung magnanakaw. Well siguro kasi alam nya di ko siya mahahabol in case maramdaman ko na may kinukuha siya sa bag ko.
Upon getting home, I texted Paul (using my sister’s cell) and told him what happened. I asked him also to call an officemate who was still in the office to send me the back up file of the notes that are stored in my cellphone. May mga passwords kasi don ng mga accounts ko online eh. Buti na lang andon pa sila and na-send agad sa kin yung file kaya I was able to change agad the passwords. Thanks Jenny and Amie! I was able to call also the banks to block my credit cards and kanina I went to the bank to request for a new atm card and informed them also of what happened.
Yung laman ng wallet ko eh 2 credit cards, atm card and mga iba’t-ibang cards like sm advantage, mercury drug, sta. lucia, etc. Yung kelangan ko lang don talaga agad is my medicard and yung medical city plus card. Pero I asked naman our HR kanina and they endorsed naman na to medicard my case and I won’t request na for a new one since mag expire na din yung card sa sept 14. Yung sa medical city naman, I was able to call customer service na and they told me to request na lang for a new one and if in case wala pa yung card and I gave birth na, sabihin ko lang that I have a TMC card. I also have my admission slip sa wallet and I’ll just request for a new one on my check up on Saturday. Yung cash naman was around 3K. Papadala ko sana sa Davao para pamasahe nung magiging yaya ni Hannah. Well ngayon wala na silang lahat. :(
Sayang din yung mga naka store sa cellphone ko, wala pa naman lahat yon back up :( And btw, I’m using a prepaid sim so if in case may ma receive kayo na text using my number 09063552470, di na ako yon kaya paki check na din lang.
Anyway, kakalungkot lang talaga. Pati pala buntis di na pinapatawad ng mga magnanakaw. Sana lang gamitin nya sa matinding pangangailangan, at kung hindi man, bahala na siya. Si God na ang maniningil sa kanya. I’m thankful lang na I’m safe and nothing bad happened to me or to Hannah. Mapapalitan naman yung mga nawala sa kin eh. Doble ingat na lang palagi, lalo na ngayon malapit na pasko kaya rampant na naman mga magnanakaw.
Mhay included me in her list. Thanks sis! Here's what she said:
Toni - She's also an officemate and friend to me. I was able to learn about w@w and n@w and BUB and how to make money blogging through her :D.
And now I'm giving this to:
Peachy - I've known her when we were still preparing for our wedding since she's a June bride too. When I gave birth to Lance, I often text her when I have questions and she never fails to reply even up to now. She also gives me links and tips on where to find cute items online.
Aggie - like Peachy she's also a June bride. She helped me when I was still starting with blogging and she's also the one who introduced me to paid blogging. I love reading her blog and I learn a lot from it.
Bang - a friend since college and we still talk even if through ym only since we live far from each other. I like it when she encourages me to cook since she's good at it. Oh did I mention I love her muffins?
Nice - I love reading her blog and I learn a lot from it too. And not to mention she's a very nice person. There was one time that I have a question and sent her a message, and what she did was call me on the office so that I'll understand it more. Bait no! :)
When we learned that we were pregnant, Paul and I, well mostly just me, started thinking of the things to buy for our baby. And I got more excited when we learned that we’re having a girl.I’ve thought of the basic things that a baby need like crib, strollers, feeding bottles, etc. Well we won’t be buying a crib anymore since the one Lance used before is still in good condition.I’m still thinking if we will buy a new stroller since the one we have now can be used for babies 3 months and above.I was referred to a site that gives buyers a guide when buying strollers. The site even talks about different stroller styles like lightweight and umbrella strollers (which we have now), full featured, travel systems, tandem strollers, jogging strollers, all terrain strollers and carriage strollers.I like the full featured stroller since it is has several features that are good especially for newborns. The site is really nice since it has prices for each type and for the different stores that offers it.Well we haven’t decided yet if we’ll buy one. We’ll see. :)
So far, I think we have everything prepared and are just waiting for the coming of baby Hannah. I bought clothes already, blankets, cloth diapers, etc. I also had my check up this morning and the OB said my cervix is still closed but she already gave me an admission slip in case I go into labor. Please pray for my health that I may have a safe and normal delivery. Pray for baby Hannah too. Thanks! :)
I normally bring a small book whenever I leave so that if I'll be caught in traffic, I have something to do. If I don't have a book, I just text or play with my phone. Or sometimes, I just don't do anything at all. :)
When I'm driving naman, I just listen to the music and sing to whatever is playing in my ipod or on the radio. :)
That's it. Sorry sis for the delayed response. Thanks for the tag. :)
