US Vacation

My relatives have been planning on the places they are going to visit next year when they go on vacation for my cousin’s wedding. Three families are confirmed already on going there and they are telling me that my family should go there too. I’m sure it’s going to be fun but right now, we still don’t have a visa and we don’t have money for the air fare. But one thing at a time, maybe we will apply for a visa before the year ends and if we will be given one, that’s when I’ll think on where to get money for our airfare. :D

Bed Weather

It’s been raining since last night that makes you want to stay in bed all day. Plus it’s holiday in my part of the world today so it’s a perfect day to just do nothing! If in case you are someone like me that you feel cold at the slightest drop in temperature, staying in front of an outdoor firepit is a good choice too. Unfortunately, we don’t have that one in our house so I just have to settle with blankets. Hehe! Anyhow, what are your plans today? For us, we will just stay home and rest since we were out last weekend.

Coming Home

My parents are arriving from New Zealand next weekend. They left a couple of months ago to be with my brother and his family. The initial plan was for them to stay until November but since it’s winter there now, my mom had been coughing a lot and my brother felt that it’s better if they go back here. And because of that, we really need to buy a new aircon. We’ve been sleeping in my sister’s room for a month I think ever since our aircon broke down. But now, we should really buy an aircon before my parents arrive. We started canvassing already even for the ones we don’t need now like the panasonic home theater system, something that we love to have soon. Anyhow, we are all excited to see my parents again and I do hope my mom will feel better once she’s here already.

Father’s Day

I’m sure everyone had their own way of celebrating Father’s Day. I heard from friends that malls are full and restaurants will take you hours to wait before your turn. As for my family, we celebrated father’s day by having lunch at Paseo Uno. We checked in at Mandarin Hotel in Makati since we are also celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary and since I know Paul loves to eat, he will love the buffet lunch at Paseo Uno. I still owe him a gift and I’ve been thinking of giving him something related to food. A suggestion I got was to get him gourmet gifts for Father's Day which is really good because I know he will love it. Wish me luck! :)

Accident

We got a call last night from my uncle who told us that my cousin got into a car accident. I really don’t know the details yet but we were told that there’s another car that caused the said accident. Now they are looking an Austin Personal Injury Attorney since my cousin had some serious injuries. They heard that these lawyers are really good and even provide free consultation on the initial visit and that they really make sure that their clients get what they need to recover. For now, we are all praying that my cousin will be ok and will fully recover. I checked online and saw the address of the firm. They can be found at: O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers – 808 West Avenue, Austin, TX. 78701 – 512-494-9949

Back from Bicol

I'm glad I got home safe after a long travel from Bicol yesterday. It took us a long time to get to Manila because it was raining all day. I was really tired when I got home but upon seeing my kids, all the tiredness was gone when they both ran to me and hugged and kissed me. My eldest even said he missed me. Simple happiness but priceless :)

Anyhow, our trip to Bicol was great except for the mosquito bites I got. We just hope that the Mayor will purchase the number of units he said he will get and I hope he’ll get them all this year. :)

Friday Meet Up with Twitter Bebot Friends

I had a long lunch break yesterday for I went to see my twitter bebot friends at Trinoma. As usual, it’s never ending stories about kids, pregnancy, blogging, and of course our favorite topic, shopping. It was good to see them again and we tried to catch up with one another’s lives as if we don’t talk a lot in twitter. I really had a great time chatting with them that if it’s not my lunch break, I would have stayed the whole afternoon with them. Good thing there are two parties scheduled this month that I’ll be able to see them again. :)
