Deadly Mosquitoes on the Rise
Dengue fever or dengue hemorrhagic fever is a disease caused by the dengue virus transmitted by mosquitoes. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle and joint pains, stomach pain, and the classic dengue rash. As of August 14 this year, more than 54000 dengue cases have been recorded nationwide, and the Department of Health fears that there could be 80,000 cases by the end of 2010. The DOH also said trends have changed, and dengue is no longer a rainy season disease. Dengue cases are now expected to occur even when the rainy months June to August, are over. In previous reports, Dr. Enrique Tayag of the
- Daily monitoring of patient, if new symptoms occur

- Give paracetamol, not aspirin, as aspirin can worsen the bleeding
- Use mosquito nets or screens
- Early medical consultation
On Leave Again
One of the engineers in our division was on leave again for 2 days last week. He was on leave for a couple of times already and I do hope he’s fine. First, he had flu, then his lips needs some operation, then he had chin acne and last week, it was sore eyes. He is getting sickly and I do hope his body recovers soon for we need him in our team.
Check Up
Before
Here’s how we looked 8 years ago. Sorry for the blurred picture. This was taken when we were having a clean up program in the office when Paul was still working there. I was just cleaning up my files here in my laptop when I saw this and I just can’t imagine how slim we were back then. We should really start taking slimming pills that work and hopefully go back to that figure again. :D
Erectile Dysfunction
Though it seems like a modern problem for men, erectile dysfunction is not a problem of our age. As old as the supposed "longest profession on Earth" has been in business, so has the problem of erectile dysfunction. Companies have only just recently began to address this issue that has been stressing men out for centuries. In the last decade, it has become a possibility for older men to enjoy themselves as much as younger men. The drugs that are available on the market have many pros, such as increased confidence and self-esteem, in addition to the more obvious function.
Men need to buy Cialis if they are having problems with their regular functions more frequently than once a month, on average. It's a good idea for a man and his partner to keep track of his erectile dysfunctions, in order to relay that information to a medical professional at a later date. If you don't keep track of those issues as they arise, you may forget them and not have solid information to give to your health care provider.
Buy Cialis if you want to boost your self-esteem after months or years of difficulties, but not for recreational use. A lot of younger men have bought drugs illegally, and had serious medical issues as a result of misuse. Make sure that you only use the amount that is prescribed to you and that you never use it more often than it is recommended. Erectile dysfunction is an issue that has plagued men for centuries, yes, but it is a problem that now has an answer. The only catch is that users of these new medications need to use them only as needed and recommended. If you want to free yourself from nervousness and stress, then consider this prescription for yourself.

Help!
I have a friend who asked for my help if I know someone who does eczema treatment because she has one. She said it is so bad and it’s very itchy that she can’t come to work anymore because she really needs treatment. And so here I am now, searching on the net and asking other friends if they know someone who can treat her. I wish I could really help.
Thoughts To Ponder
Have you ever met someone who underwent treatment of hemorrhoids? I know of one officemate that was confined because of this. He got well after 3 days of confinement. I believe one of the causes of having hemorrhoids is when there’s an increased strain in bowel movements due to constipation or diarrhea. Most pregnant women are prone to this because there’s pressure from the fetus on the abdomen. I’m just glad that for my previous pregnancies, I have not experienced having hemorrhoids. I may be constipated from time to time, but it doesn’t lead to something like hemorrhoids.
HR Is Busy
As I mentioned before, we got the results of our annual physical exam already. Most of the employees have either high cholesterol or high sugar. And here they are now asking HR if they have programs for them so that they’ll have normal results again. HR said that they are still brainstorming on what programs to give them and advised the employees to seek for other cholesterol treatments for the mean time. I hope HR will have exciting programs that will benefit not only those who are obese but also those employees who are perfectly healthy.
Annual Physical Exam
I mentioned before that we had our annual physical exam in the office. Yesterday, the results from the exam were given to us. I’m proud to say that my results are all within the limit. One thing though, I’m a bit overweight haha! My BMI showed that I was 0.54 overweight hehe. And because of that, I’m now looking for quick weight loss diets so that I’ll be on the normal weight again and be classified as physically fit. I hope I’ll be successful this time in losing weight. :D
Visit To The Pedia
The pedia said it's because of the dust and molds brought by the recent typhoon. She advised us to scrub the walls and bleach them and throw away all foams that got soaked in the flood. She also prescribed some medicines that the kids should take and asked us to come back next week.
I admit our house is still in total chaos and we're still trying to get things in order. We threw away the foams already and we cleaned our room again today. I really hope everything will be back to normal and that the kids will get well really soon.
8 Km Walk
I can't believe I made it till the end. I'm talking about the Walk the Talk that the Lopez Group had last Saturday at Forest Hills in Antipolo. I joined in the walk for I really need to lose weight and i badly need exercise. My officemates said it's fun to join in the walk and it's near our place pa that's why i decided to come. And yes it was fun! While we were walking, we thought we can't make it to the finish line but when we saw some employees going back na, meaning they reched the 4km mark and walking back na to complete the 8km walk, that challenged me and I told my colleagues that we can make it too. Besides there's no time limit so it's ok if it will take us longer. We were really the last group to finish because some of those people behind us did not walk back to the base anymore. Some asked the services of the ambulance to take them back for they can't walk anymore. And for me, it was an accomplishment when we got to the base hehe! Although after the walk, I felt so tired and I can't walk properly anymore. But still having finished the 8km walk is something! I can't wait till the next schedule!

Annual Physical Exam
When it was my turn, the doctor felt something on my breast and was advised to have breast ultrasound. She also noticed something in my throat and advised me to have thyroid ultrasound too. And when it was my turn for eye refraction, the optometrist said I have astigmatism. And because of that she instructed me to wear eyeglasses so that I’ll have better vision. The glasses arrived yesterday and I’m wearing mine today. I still need sometime to get used to it. And with regards to my ultrasound, I’m scheduled on Feb 21 for both thyroid and breast. Hopefully they won’t find anything serious. Pray for me. :)
