Big TV

That’s what my kids call our new tv.  They’ve been used to the conventional CRT type TV that when this was delivered they were so happy and called it the big TV.  Funny thing though is that it is still in our bedroom since we haven’t bought a tv stand for it.  We tried to look for a stand that we like at a nearby mal but we haven’t found anything yet.  They have plenty of standsandmounts dvd cabinets, but they don’t have the tv stand that we are looking for and most importantly the one that fits our budget hehe.  Hopefully before the Holy Week comes, we will finally be able to buy a tv stand. :)

Construction

My husband was watching a show last night on something about construction.  I don’t know the title of the show but last night the topic was on construction.  There I see different equipment and materials they use and I even saw some blades like the diamond blades at diamond-blades.com.  They talked about the different functions and purpose of the equipment and my husband was really interested with what he is watching.  As for me, I went upstairs to play with my kids lol!

The Amazing Race

One of the shows that I love to watch is the amazing race. Sometimes Paul and I even strategize as to who will take the tasks just in case we were lucky enough to be one of the contestants. He said that when it comes to water challenges I should be the one doing it while he can handle all the eating challenges LOL! I remember there are some challenges where you need to take to the pit stop the garden gnomes you found and sometimes there are surprises in those gnomes. Anyhow, I’m really sad I don’t get to watch it anymore since I don’t get to watch tv often. Hopefully soon, I’ll find the time to watch it again. I really miss this show.

Survivor

As I’ve blogged before, I don’t get to watch television anymore and so I just catch up with some shows by reading their recaps on the internet. One of the shows that I would love to watch if given the chance is survivor Philippines celebrity edition. These castaways don’t need the best weight loss supplement because given the situation they are in, they definitely will lose weight. Most of those who were voted out and interviewed said that they will eat for the remaining castaways. There’s only 9 castaways left and I do hope Mama Elma will be the Celebrity Sole Survivor!

Glee

I was checking my files on my laptop the other day and saw in one of my folders my files on the different tv series that I watch. Since I’m not sleepy yet, I decided to watch some of them. One of the episodes I watched was when Glee featured Lady Gaga on their show. It was one of the episodes that I like especially when they perform Bad Romance.

Lady Gaga is really famous now, her songs are always in the charts, people know her songs and you can see her music videos all the time in mtv! And when she has a show lady gaga concert tickets are selling like hot cakes! Too bad we were not able to watch when she had her concert here. Anyhow, back to glee. I can’t wait for season 2! I’m sure fans like me are so excited to see them again on September.

Electric Motors

I miss watching TV. One of the shows I frequently watched before was a team of special effects experts who try and test myths and validate them to see if there is some truth to the said myths. But now, I only get to watch children’s shows, thanks to my two kids. Anyway in this show, they try to use scientific methods to test the validity of myths, adages, rumors and stories among others. The hosts and their build team come up with complex rigs to try and replicate the circumstances of the myth. They don’t skimp on materials either; they have destroyed several cars and trucks in trying to verify myths. Some wrecks are so severe that they need to use Hydraulic rams to get to their crash test dummy, aptly named Buster. Most of the rigs and sets they use are impressive, using Electric motors, and controlled by computer programs to have consistent repeated actions. They don’t play with safety either as they use a Hydraulic valve or pressure relief valves when needed. This is truly one of the few shows that make science cool and interesting. I really have to check the TV guide so I can watch the show when the kids are all asleep.

Fringe

…is getting better each episode. I don’t know what will happen on their season finale and I can’t wait for it to air next week. They crossed the parallel universe already and “The Secretary” said there will be war when it happens. I also wonder on which side Peter will support when the war starts. I’m really excited! Watch out for the season finale on May 20. :)

Chuck

My sis never fails to get a copy of the latest episodes of Chuck and just today, she told me that she have EP7 already. I haven’t seen the episode yet but I read the recap and it breaks my heart that Chuck and Sarah both have new love interests. I hope this new love interest won’t last long and soon they’ll be back in each other’s arms. :D

Word World

This is one of the shows that Lance watch at playhouse Disney channel. It’s one of the shows that I really like him to watch. I love their concept since children will learn spelling and will immediately know what the object looks like. Because of that, there are times that I hear Lance spell out the words he’s reading. Thank you Word World. :D

Fringe

I was reading something about richard willich the other night when my sister knocked on the door and asked if I want to have a copy of the winter finale episode of fringe. Of course I said yes, and when she gave it to me, I immediately watched it. The episode was so nice that I watched it again this morning. Now I can't wait for the coming episodes. Questions filled my mind like, what will Liv do now that she knows that Peter is from the other universe? Or, will Walter reveal to Liv what really happened to Peter. Arrgghh... now I'm really getting excited for the coming episodes. Too bad I need to wait for a few weeks since they are on break now.

Chuck

I am so sleepy today here at work. Hannah woke up at 12midnight to ask for milk and when I can't sleep after giving her the milk, I decided to watch the new episodes of Chuck. My sister has a copy of the new episodes so I spent 2 hours watching it. I started watching by 12midnight and I was having fun watching that I did not realize it's 2am already! I tried to go back to sleep because I still need to wake up at 5am to go to the market.
Anyway, as always I really enjoyed watching Chuck. Can't wait to have a copy of the coming episodes.

TV Series

I’m fond of watching tv series in dvd. I watched Alias, One Tree Hill, The OC, Grey’s Anatomy, Chuck, and Prison Break, which I just finished watching a couple of days ago. Those series really kept me awake all night whenever I watch them. It’s as if I can’t make myself stop unless I’m finished with the series that I almost always end up sleepy the following day at work. Hahaha!

And last night, I started watching Fringe. I liked their pilot episode plus I still find Joshua Jackson hot so I’m sure this is now the new source of my sleepless nights hehehe! J
