I’d really like to get a puppy for Lance in the future, Toni just doesn’t want it. I’m more of a dog person than a cat person. Maybe because cats aren’t really playful compared to dogs, at least from my point of view. The first dog that I remember we had was a mongrel named Bandit. He was called such because his face had large spots on each eye that makes him look like he’s wearing a mask. We’ve had several dogs through the years. Yeah mostly were mongrels, but we also had a Japanese Spitz. I’m really fond of dogs, especially puppies. I was actually bitten by one of our dogs when he was just a puppy. You see, we were just playing around and maybe he got a little too excited and nibbled on my finger. Anyway, I’d usually buy chew toys and leashes that restrain the dog at the chest whenever we get a new dog. The next time we get a dog, I’ll surely buy an indoor dog potty before we train him to do his stuff outdoors. That way, he’ll keep himself and the house clean, not to mention to keep the odor out as well.

Thank God for weekends! It’s time for a much needed break. I have been out of the office and on field work for the last several days. Unfortunately I couldn’t afford to relax and be a lazybody all weekend. We have the daunting task of spring cleaning, yes, it’s the time to sort everything at home, clean the whole house, keep in storage all that needs to be kept, not to mention arrange everything in the storage as well. For that I’d need home storage solutions like these with durable storage boxes of varying sizes, depending on the items to be stored. And we’ve been neglecting the space underneath our bed. Now that’s a lot of space right there and we could easily put a lot of stuff underneath the bed. Hey, it’s not often you find boxes of that size. Good thing they have the exact same thing we need and then some. With all the stuff we’ve collected over time, it’s time to clean up.

I got another call from agents asking if I want to apply for a new credit card or a loan. I think they got my name and number from a telemarketing list. I used to wonder how they get the names and numbers of people to call to until a friend told me that there are companies that have telemarketing lists and they even have a direct mailing list if you want to send out something to the house of your prospective clients. They say that direct marketing is one of the most effective forms of customer acquisition and I agree with them. I did not apply for a new card but I referred an officemate who wanted one and I think the agent was able to convince her. :)
