When I get home and everyone is already fast asleep, that’s the only time when I can get some time alone to watch TV. I usually watch documentaries and I was able to catch a show on a trucker’s daily life. It’s actually a hard life for those guys. Just imagine that their trucks breakdown in the middle of nowhere with no sign cell phone signals. It would be very beneficial for both driver and operator if the trailer was equipped with gps trailer tracking devices so they can be monitored easily and be checked upon should it be an emergency.
Becky's Kitchen
Last week, our department went to eat at Aling Nene’s in South Super Highway because they are craving for it’s barbeque. After that, we decided to go to Becky’s for my boss is craving for something sweet. I decided to buy a box of crinkles for I’m sure my kids will love it and true enough, they immediately consumed the crinkles and the box was empty in just one day. Too bad I only bought one box. Next time, if ever we’ll be given the chance to go there again, I’ll make sure I’ll buy more. :)
Buy One Take One
The Café France here in our building always has a buy one take one promo every Friday. So today, I went there to buy a couple of bread which I hope the kids will like. I bought croissants, turnover and loaf. Their breads are yummy and their loaf is soft too!! I’m sure from now on I’ll be going there every Friday. :D
Alvin and the Chipmunks
When we watched Disney on Ice last Jan.1, the kids saw in the big TV in Araneta the preview on Alvin and the Chipmunks and requested that we watch it. So last Sunday, we were at SM Marikina to see the movie. Lance was making comments here and there while Hannah was dancing every now and then whenever the chipettes sing.
Surprisingly, I enjoyed watching it too hehe! It was a nice movie for the kids, it is entertaining and it has a lesson too. So if you haven’t seen it yet, go take your kids to watch the movie.
Eyelash
One of the things I love in a person’s facial feature is the eyes. I really love looking at the eyes because I feel as if I can see the person’s character thru it. Also, a person’s eye can be most attractive when it has long lashes that some people especially girls search for eyelash growth products to make their eyes look nice. Now, I wonder how I will look like if I have long lashes. :D
Dinner with Batch Mates
Last December 28, I met with some of my high school batch mates for dinner and coffee. One of our batch mates is in the country and requested for a meet up so we set up a dinner with her. We had dinner at Fely J’s at Greenbelt 5 and when we were done with dinner, we proceeded to Starbucks for some coffee. It was a fun night and it was good to see my batch mates again. I do hope we will meet again next time and I hope there will be more batch mates who will attend. :)
Gifts Received
Christmas really is for the kids. My kids were so glad with the gifts they received last Christmas. There are toys, books and clothes and they really were so happy with what they got. Hannah even kept thanking her Tita Sharon for the microphone for she loves to sing and dance. Lance on the other hand played with his Optimus Prime toy. Thank you to the Ninongs and Ninangs and to Tita Sharon for all the gifts. :)
