It's Our Anniversary!
Rare Coin
I remember when we were preparing for our wedding. Our arrhae consists of coins from different countries. We collected 10 coins from different countries and some of the coins there are old already and is not being used anymore. We were even thinking of getting a morgan silver dollar but opted not to because those types were expensive. But if we have the extra money, we will contact Monaco Rare coin which is part of the monex companies who are known for these. They have a good reputation and they have the expertise and experience on that area and for sure they could help us in what we need. But as I mentioned, we don’t have the extra money at that time and so we just settled with the coins that we had which were collected from the countries where we’ve been to. :)
Our 3rd Wedding Anniversary
Happy Anniversary Honey! I thank God for you! You’ve been such a wonderful partner to me and a great father to Lance. I know I made the right decision in marrying you. Luv you so much! :)

My two most favorite suppliers, cecil and rod. They were the ones responsible for making me pretty on my wedding day!
Our First Month as Husband and Wife (Reminiscing our Wedding Day)
Okay, so here goes our wedding day kwento… my mahabang wedding kwento. I watched the video muna para I can give the blow by blow account of our wedding. We checked in early at the hotel. My family got there at 8:30am while Paul’s family checked in at 10am. Don’t want to spend the night there kaya we checked in on the day itself. Pwede naman since afternoon yung wedding and mas tipid since one day lang! Hehehe! My make up artist is the first supplier to arrive at 9am. Sakto sa call time. When he got there with his assistant, he started agad with setting our hairs. Then, one by one our suppliers arrived. Next to arrive is cecil’s assistant, she brought my gown and accessories, all the gowns of my ento and my mom’s gown. Galing nga eh. Mag isa lang sya and nadala niya lahat yon! Followed by my coordinator, then our florist, then our photographer. I can’t explain how I felt when we were at the hotel na. Excited, tensed, happy, and a lot of emotions talaga! Sama-sama na!
When everyone was getting dressed, my make up artist naman is working in making me beautiful on my special day. Medyo na-tense pa nga ako coz I thought we’re behind our schedule. Pero di naman pala, we still have time for picture taking and all those stuff. Kakatuwa coz while he’s doing my make up, I can see one by one my entourage and ang gaganda nila! Kakatuwa also when I saw my mom coz she looked really pretty! Cecil and Rod did a great job. My dad nga was telling me, mas maganda pa daw mom ko kesa sa kin eh ako yung kakasal! Hehehe! Finally, done na make up ko! It’s time na for picture taking. So pose dito, pose don! Kaya pala di ko piniling career ang pag artista, hirap magproject sa camera! Buti na lang Mang Emil is coaching me on what to do so ayos lang! Then, when I was getting dressed, the photographers naman went to Paul’s room for his turn for picture taking. Buti na lang mga 2 rooms away lang sila from our room kaya mabilis lang. Then bumalik na sila sa room namin. Mang Emil took a lot of pictures of me, my family, parents, entourage, etc. We had so much fun during the photo session (addict sa picture!) We also had fun when it was time for my shoot with our flower girls. Seems like the flower girls are not in the mood for picture taking. No, they’re not crying but they’re not smiling too! I don’t know if they’re shy or they’re just not in the mood on that moment. Kakatuwa coz I can hear my ento and the parents of my flower girls coaching them to smile, pose, etc. Buti na lang towards the end, they gave in. Naka-smile na sila!
Then off we went to the church. Before going there, picture taking ulit sa staircase ng hotel. Hirap maging artista! When I got to the lobby, they asked me pa to hide coz Paul is outside waiting for his car. Tago daw muna para di niya ako makita at ma-excite mamaya sa paglakad ko sa aisle. Our wedding is at 4pm at the Malate Church and since Pavilion is near the church, we left at 3:30. After 4 traffic lights, we reached the church. My parents went out of the car to greet friends and relatives while I waited in the bridal car. Medyo tensed na naman and excited. Buti na lang, makwento yung driver ng car. He made kwento para naman ma-at ease ako before walking down the aisle. Finally, I can hear them starting na with the procession. Then it’s my time to get off the car. Kitte helped me go down tapos nag closed door na yung church. Cecil was there to fix my gown and my veil. He made sure na I’ll look pretty when I walk. Tapos nag open na door ng church. Sayang kasi mali yung cue ng coordinator. Nauna yung pag open ng door kaya medyo di na masyado dramatic ang entrance ko. But just the same, happy pa din! So when I heard the song played, I started walking. Eto yung talagang kakaibang feeling! Ang sarap, nakaka-excite at di mo maintindihan. Tapos when I got to the middle aisle, there I saw my parents (about to cry) waiting for me. Then we walked together to meet my groom. I can hear some people say “o huwag iiyak!!!” I guess, my parents really can’t avoid getting teary eyed. So do I. Buti na lang di ako naiyak when I saw Paul at the end of the aisle. So ayun, andon na kami sa end, I kissed my parents then walked with Paul na. (Kainis nga coz I forgot to kiss Paul’s dad). One step pa lang kami ni Paul, I can’t walk na, yun pala my mom stepped on my gown kaya di ako makalakad. Tapos on my second step, I can’t walk again. My mom stepped naman on my veil. Sabi nga ng uncle ni Paul, “Naku! Ayaw ibigay ng nanay!” hehehe! Finally, we reached our seat at the altar.
The ceremony went fine and I love the sermon of the priest. Was really listening to him and learned from what he said. Then the usual ceremony went on and then the final blessing. After that the priest said “It is my privilege to present to you Mr. and Mrs. Paul Steven Tadeo”. Yes!!! We’re married. When we faced the people, they were all smiling and clapping their hands. Tapos we signed the contract and had picture taking with the priest. Oh wait, did you miss something there? After ng picture taking with the priest, that’s when lang Paul removed my veil for the traditional “you may now kiss the bride”. Hehehe! Blooper talaga! San ka naman nakakita na kinasal na at nag sign ng contract at nagpa-picture pa na meron pang veil? Hehehe! We don’t know din kasi kung kelan ba yon gagawin! So ayun, finally our first kiss as a couple! Sarap! Tapos the traditional picture taking followed and then we walked outside na. Our guests were waiting at the front of the church to throw petals, poppers, etc.
Then off we went to roxas boulevard and baywalk for picture taking again. Thank God for good weather. We had wonderful pictures there and a great picture too with the sunset. Tapos people were looking at us pero kami deadma lang. Tapos before we got in the bridal car, a councilor approached us and ask for picture taking. He’ll use it daw somewhere, di ko alam kung saan. Then we went na to the hotel!
When we got to the hotel, picture taking ulit at the staircase, this time with Paul na. Tapos when we got to the ballroom, I heard abie said. “Let’s all welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tadeo.” Was so glad to see the reception area. Mang Boy did a great job with the flowers and I also like the simple set up that the hotel prepared. Tapos the program began starting with a prayer from my niece, Margo. Picture taking with the guest per table followed then dinner. Was so happy to hear that everyone loved the food. Sayang di kami masyado nakakain! At least ako, I was able to taste the food when we had food tasting last December. Si Paul di natikman lahat. Soup lang yata, vegetables and pasta yung nakain niya! The rest of the menu, hindi na. We can see everyone having a great time. And we’re happy for that.
Tapos after dinner, the program resumed with a song number from my cousin Jane accompanied by her boyfriend Joseph. Tapos cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss followed. Then our first dance. We really didn’t prepare that much for our dance. We don’t have time to practice since Paul got here only a week before the wedding. We just want to hold and hug each other during our dance. Sayang nga coz they played a different version of “The Way You Look Tonight”. I still need to ask how it happened. Then came the speech of both our dads, they shared lessons and advices to both of us. Then our speech. A lot of people said they cried during our speech. I guess it’s because we were crying too. Our relationship was put to test weeks before our wedding that it almost reached a point that we’re going to postpone our wedding. We were just really grateful that we survived that test kaya those tears were tears of joy and happiness.
After our speech, end of the program na. Some people stayed to share more time with us and took some pictures too tapos the others left na. We really had a great time. People that mattered to us were there to share our special day. A lot of people congratulated us for a great wedding and I believe we really had a great one! There may be some glitches but still it was wonderful! To top it all, we’re married and that’s the most important thing!
Now, we’ve reached our first month! Paul and I may not spend it together physically coz he left for Taiwan for work, but in our hearts, we can feel the joy and love of being husband and wife. Looking forward to thousands of months to share. Sana on our second month, we can spend it na together, as in physically we’re together! I miss you honey! Luv you so much!
We're Married!!!
Konting kwento lang, Paul arrived June 11, just one week before our wedding. We really didn’t have time to rest coz there are a lot of things to do before the wedding (see previous post). We need to buy this and that, meet some of our suppliers and all those stuff. Sobrang kakapagod. Paul and I sometimes end up sleeping on the floor sa sobrang pagod. Thank God our wedding went well. Nasulit yung pagod namin!
I’ll post our wedding kwento next time. I just want to share that it really feels good to be married. I told Paul nga, kung alam ko lang ganito kasarap feeling ng kinasal, dapat noon pa ako nagpakasal! Hehehe!
Till my next post. --> Toni (Mrs. Tadeo na!)

It's just really difficult now coz the wedding is getting close and I can't go hands on now with the preparations because of my work. Our ISO surveillance audit is on June 8 and I'm the one handling it kaya I can't focus on the preps now.
I know prayers can do wonders, with God's grace, everything will turn out the way we wanted it (both in the audit and during the big day!)

No more braces!!!
I went to the dentist yesterday and was so glad that my dentist removed my braces na after 14 months. Sarap ng feeling! It feels light and I just can't help but smile always! hehehe! I can also roll my tounge and touch my teeth without fear of hurting or yung feeling na sasabit tongue mo. Won't have mouth sore also! Sarap talaga!
My dentist asked me to come back on tuesday for my retainers. I just hope this won't hurt as much as when I started having my braces! whew! hirap magpaganda! hehehe!
For now, I'll just enjoy the feeling of having nothing on my teeth.....

Long update......
Last week, I tried to go on with the preparations during the night while working on my project during office hours. So far, here are the things I’ve accomplished last week. Was able to find a calligrapher and she returned the envelopes to me last Friday. Was so happy with her work and also she gave me a discount. Galing galling!!! As soon as I received the envelopes, I started printing the map to include in the invitation envelope then started with the distribution here in the office.
Saturday, I went to Cecil’s shop for one of my flower girls fitting. She looked great on her gown and her mom loves it. It fits her well and cecil just have to adjust the length of the gown. Cecil is really wonderful! Super galing! Next weekend will be my ento’s fitting and 2 more other flower girls. Sugurin naming ulit shop ni Cecil. Hehehe!
Yesterday I went to our province naman to distribute the invitations to our relatives there. It feels good coz they’re all excited for our wedding and I just hope all of them will come (and will bring cash as gift too!!!) hehehe!!!
This week I’ll be getting the marriage banns from the church to submit again to malate. I’ll also distribute the invitations to other friends and relatives. Need to be done by Wednesday or else lagot kay kitte (my coordinator) coz she’ll start na with the rsvp. Might end up na she’s texting our guests na tapos di pa pala nila nare-receive yung invitation! Hehehe!
Well, that’s about it for now… will give more updates later. Back to work muna. 33 days left.....
June Couples EB
left to right: me, dulce, peachy, suzette and michelle
By the way, thanks to peachy and gelo for the sharings, we really had fun listening to both of you and to michelle and dulce, for waiting till I get a cab. Can't wait for our next EB.
Our Precious
There it is... our precious! I don't have anything to say anymore! I just love it!
Here naman is our arrhae. We used coins from different countries then we'll just put them in a pouch for the ceremony.
I ordered the rings from my friend from Bulacan. I gave her also our arrhae to be silverplated. Then last friday, she gave it back to me. Our rings are done already and the silver plating for our arrhae is free. Ain't that great? Thank God for friends!
Souvenirs and Marriage License
This week started great. I got our souvenirs last night. San texted me and told me that our souvenirs are now ready for pick up and asked me when am I available. I texted her that I'm available after ofc, yesterday din! Excited talaga! hehehe! We met last night and was so happy with our souvenirs. I just love it! She also delivered ahead of time just like our other suppliers. Kakatuwa! Check out our souvenirs below:
Wedding preps updates
First I got a call from QP that our invitations are now ready for pick up. So I went there to pick it up and I was happy with the outcome. They even gave us 5 pcs extra. That made me even happier. :D We chose a simple design for our invitation and we don't want also a lot of inserts, besides, we don't want to spend much on our invitations. hehehe!
The third item that I received this week is the signature book from emil buencamino. I love it so much! We're going to use it sana as guestbook pero since it's so beautiful, we're not going to use it anymore and instead we will use guestsheets. Super sayang lang pag ginamit namin signature book eh. It has 15 pages containing our prenup pictures.
Each time I receive stuff for our wedding, I feel excited and pressured. Excited because I know little by little, it makes me see how our wedding will turn out. It makes me think also that our wedding day is just 2 months away. That I'll walk down the aisle and marry the person I love. But that's also the reason why I feel pressured. I feel like I still have a lot to accomplish but I haven't got the time anymore. hhaaayyy.... Buti na lang paul is there to encourage me and keep me going and going. And I know with God's grace, we can do all these.
My First Belly Dancing Session / Application at Quezon City Hall / Unity Candle
My Wedding Gown, Mang Boy Mahusay, My Fitness Test
My ento also had their fitting last sat though sila first fitting pa lang. Like me, they were also satisfied with the fit of their gowns. One of my ento said na it was her first time to fit a gown ng first fitting tapos sakto agad. Natuwa ako! I’m just so thankful I got Cecilio to do our gowns. Now pa lang, super recommended na!!!
After my fitting, my sis and I went to Gold’s gym for our fitness test. Thank God fit naman daw ako. Hehehe! Proportion yung weight sa height and age ko. And when they checked my body composition, I just need to lose mga 5% fat para mas ok. Konting cardio exercise lang pwede na! Sana! Hehehe! The trainer also did other tests like push up, crunches, flexibility, etc. Know what, sa push up, I only made 4. Bad! As in below average. Kaya I need to work out to strengthen my upper body. I passed naman the other tests so happy na din ako. After that, we had lang our usual exercise, since it’s my second session pa lang, they don’t have a program for me yet. I just spent mga 30 mins sa treadmill and 10mins sa elliptical. After that, we left na the gym coz we had other activities pa for that day.
Sunday naman, my friend and I (kasama pala fiancé niya), went to dangwa to visit mang boy. My friend had her package changed tapos ako naman my bouquet and additional sa flowers for offertory and additional pa sa reception. It took me a long time to decide on my bouquet. I have something in mind and even brought a picture of it kaya lang imported daw yon and baka mahirapan sila magprovide. They suggested na lang other flowers with almost the same color combination that I want and na-satisfy naman ako. What more is that they didn’t charge me additional fee for the other flowers and arrangements I requested. Bait pa nila kausap!
That’s about it. Dito na si boss eh. Update ulit later. Happy blogging!
Final proofreading at QP and my weekend schedule
I'm gonna be busy this weekend. Saturday morning is the fitting of my entourage and my fitting as well. Quite excited na with that. Hmm..... I'm gonna find out if I gained weight or not!!!! Lunchtime I'll go to the gym for my fitness test then I'll attend the graduation party of my cousin in parañaque. Talk about being busy!!! After the gym, I'm supposed to join kitte and tina to divisoria to buy materials for our wedding cord, but it turned out na after speaking with cecil, he promised that he's gonna provide wedding cord for me made of beads. Yahoo!!! Ain't God great? At least I won't do my wedding cord anymore! Tamad!!! hehehe! That's only for saturday.... Come sunday, my friend and I are going to Dangwa to visit Mang Boy Mahusay. I'll be changing my bridal bouquet coz I saw a picture in the magazine of what I want for a bridal bouquet. I need to inform also Mang Boy of the things that he needs to provide for our reception for we need additional flower stands for our cake table. Need to revise my "yellow pad contract" with mang boy (clients of mang boy, you know what i'm talking about. hehehe!) .... After dangwa, I'll be going home na to do our misallette. Need to finish pa yung mga names for w@W. I know I promised myself and mama benz that I will send it to her after holy week but until now I'm not done with it yet (ngiii!!!) Need to work on it really fast. super lagot na kay mama benz!
Well, I better rest now.... It's gonna be a busy day ahead...... :)
