Birthday Wish

This post is perfect timing hehe!

My birthday is a few days away from now and my sister was asking me what I would like to have as a gift.  She saw that I was looking at some bulova watches because I’ve been thinking of buying a new watch.  Right now though, I don’t have a budget for it yet because we have a lot of payables this month plus it will be enrollment next month.  But who knows, maybe my sister is being a bit generous this year and will give the watch on my birthday? We’ll see! Hehe!

Kirsten's 7th Birthday!

Last month, we attended Kirsten’s Royal 7th Birthday Ball at Valle Verde 5 Clubhouse.  Kids are encouraged to wear gown and thankfully I was able to find one for Hannah.  Her cousin Margo left some of her gowns that she used when she was a flower girl and we just had it repaired.  For Lance, we bought long sleeves for him and they just lend us a vest so he’ll look more formal. :)

Kaekae was so cute wearing her gown and her siblings look great also. It was also great that most of her guests followed the theme that they came in their gowns or looks kingly.

The party was a success and the kids had so much fun!  Happy 7th birthday again Kaekae.

House Hunting

We went house hunting again this afternoon and found several ones that met our requirements. There are some that are still pre-selling that’s why the units are still affordable. We also saw some that is still under construction and several tools are scattered in the area. I’m sure the industrial supply companies looks for developers since they’ll need those tools and equipment in construction. Anyway, there were some units that I find ok with us and I do hope my husband shares the same views. We’ll if we can finally live in a house we can call our own.

MOA Eye

Paul had a free time last Saturday and he said he wanted to take the kids out.  Since his officemate will have his son baptized in Shrine of Jesus near MOA, he said we will just attend the baptism at church then skip the reception and let the kids do whatever they want.
Surprisingly, Hannah said we should try riding the big Ferris wheel and Lance agreed.  So Paul and I came with them.  I really don’t fear heights but that ride was one of the scariest I’d felt in a long time.  It wasn’t really about the height but about our safety.  We were so high that what entered my mind was what if there was a mechanical problem and every one of us is there.  So scared I was that I was teary eyed when we were at the very top and my kids were telling me not to be scared and that it’s ok. J
Thankfully, nothing happened and we were able to go down safely.  My kids really love it and would like to repeat the ride but we told them we can do it again some other time.  I’m not sure if I can handle riding the Ferris wheel 2x a day. :D

Grocery Time

Every other week is our schedule for grocery.  Normally, Hannah and I go to the grocery together with my mom for the senior citizen discount.  Yesterday my sister went with us also for she needs to have her laptop charger repair.
There were several samples of new food and other stuff yesterday at the grocery.  There were different flavors of chicken nuggets, hotdogs and even milk.  There were also wines, tatuaje cigars, and laundry soap.  I remember Paul saying that if you tried all the sample food at the grocery, you’ll end up full already when you’re done. Lol!  Anyway, I hope that the snacks we bought for the kids will be enough until our next grocery schedule.  Sometimes, they get too fond of eating that they keep on getting food at their snack box. :)
