One Night....

Just want to share this pic with you.

I took this picture a few weeks ago. I woke up at around 11:30pm because Lance asked for milk. As soon as I gave him the milk he faced his dad and put his arms in his shoulder as if to embrace him. Cute no. hehe!

Share The Love

Thanks Maver and Nice!
The tag originated from Crystal, whose son's life was saved by an organ donation. Let's all pay it forward. Let's share the love.

Rules in sharing Crytal's Love:

Share this award with all those blogs out there that you love. All the people who make you smile. All those that make you laugh. All those that make your day. All those that leave uplifting comments on your blog. **All I ask, is that you include a link to this post with the award and ask your recipient to do the same**
As you may have recently seen on my side bar, I have finally created a custom blog award!! I have wanted to do this for a long time but never came up with something that “fit”. I didn’t want just anything. It had to be something that meant something to me. And what could mean more than Sharing the Love by giving you pieces of my heart??
So I created this award in Honor Of The Donor That Saved Noah’s Life. I share this award with those of you whose love and friendship have enriched my life and made my world a better place. I hope by passing this award around the blogging world we can all help raise awareness of the need for Organ Donation.

I am passing this to fellow preggy mommies: Peachy, Jane, and Mich. Share the love!

Juggle Your Money

The prices of daily commodities, not to mention bills and gas and fare for public transportation have been skyrocketing for the longest time, with no signs yet of descending. And to think that the place I work is a couple of hours from home, gas really takes a big chunk out of my salary. And lest I forget, I need to pay my quarterly premium with my insurance company very soon. Now that’s another thing for me to think about. We're trying our best to scrimp and save, but there really are expenses out there that just eat into our finances. I’m really contemplating on getting one of those fast cash payday loans. That way, I could get the cash as early as the next day, and then just pay off the loan by the next payday. It's really a matter of how you juggle your money. Well, from how the local economy is right now, it looks like I’m going to be talking to these people a lot.

In Times Of Need

In our company, almost all people wait for the payday that happens every 15th and 30th of the month. And some already knows where their salary will go even before they receive it. There are instances though that due to increase in the daily commodities, some salaries are not enough to last until the following payday. What more if they experience unexpected expenses. Good thing there are companies that let people apply for a cash advance loan that they can use in times of emergency. It allows people to avail of the loan and have it paid until the next payday. They just have to be careful to pay it on time since these companies often have higher interest rates. But it’s a good source of money whenever you really need it.

On Make Ups and Derma

Some friends I know can’t seem to understand why I don’t apply make up whenever I go out, either to the office or somewhere else. I don’t even know how to put on a lipstick that sometimes they wonder if I’m really a girl. Hehe! I just tell them that I’m more comfortable not wearing one. I also tell them that I’m not the typical girl that does those girly stuffs. I also don’t visit a dermatologist regularly. I’m not flawless or anything but I’m thankful that I don’t need any acne treatment . I just hope there won’t come a time that I really need to go and have my skin checked.

Recession Blues

Talked to my dad and stepmom again the other day. They said they were all doing fine there. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said with one of my stepbrothers in the States. He’s in the real estate business and actually was quite successful for some time. The recent recession in the States has hit his business hard. He had seven houses he was selling, and all were foreclosed. He’s now checking out credit companies and bank options to get some foreclosure help on some of his remaining properties to avoid them from being foreclosed. I do hope he gets the assistance he needs to recover from the slump.

New Store

Our company recently opened a store in a mall somewhere in the south that will offer our products to the public. Because of this opening, our purchasing and logistics people bought stuff that they will need in the store such as computers, tables and chairs, telephone, and even cleaning materials like broom, floor mops, rugs, etc. We haven’t visited the store yet but all are excited to see it. We hope that it will really help in marketing our products to the public.

Jaden's Birthday Party

Mhay invited us to Jaden's 2nd Birthday Party last May 31 held at KFC Concepcion. I was excited to attend this one because the theme was Barney and Lance loves Barney so much and I know he'll be happy to see a Barney mascot. And true enough, when Lance saw Barney, he wanted to touch him right away. I'm so glad he's not afraid of mascots. There are some kids who ran away from Barney because they were afraid. Lance on the other hand wanted to be near Barney and touch him. He was so happy during the party just watching the kids play (since he can't join yet), and eating the food that was given him. I enjoyed watching him having fun plus I met a fellow mommy blogger Milet and her daughter Anevay during the party. Thanks again Mhay for inviting us. :)

I Want One

I’ve always been a fan of big bikes since I was a kid. That’s probably one of the things I picked up from my dad and my uncle. I remember them talking about one of their old old motorcycles, that actually had a reverse gear. I didn’t even think that was possible! If given the chance, I’d buy a Harley in a heartbeat. But of course with the cost of a new one, I’d settle for used Harleys. I particularly like the VRSC line. I really like the styling of that one, plus it’s a Harley!

So Long Pen

Sadly, I lost one of my favorite pens last week. My colleague and I visited a client of ours to grab the details on one of our upcoming projects. Just when we were about done with everything, my colleague borrowed my pen for a while. Upon seeing that it was one of the custom pens our company had ordered (it had our company name and logo emblazoned on the side), he just gave it to our client; sort of a giveaway. I was just saying to myself, “why are you giving away my pen? It’s not my fault you don’t have one of those”. He did ask me if it was alright though, well I couldn’t say no when we were right in front of our client, right? And I believe that’s the last time I would see that pen again. Sigh.

Surveys

One way of getting the popularity of your product is through polls. This can be used especially to those who are selling their goods online. Some products are almost the same so some establishments conduct survey to know what the buyers prefer. One tool they can use when conducting surveys is through http://www.easy-poll.com/. You don’t need to use your own database and don’t have to get additional software plus it will only take two minutes to sign up. So to those who would like to add a survey on your online survey, check out the given site.

Job Openings

Just last week, our President talked to all the employees per department to let us know the developments in the company. We lost some businesses on the first quarter of the year but we got new businesses which will start its operation on July. With this new business, the sales and operations are asking for help from the support group in terms of faster purchases of materials, faster supply of manpower and the like. We will need new people and our HR department started checking out sites that provides admin job search. Our Installation department will need admin people to help them with the newly acquired business. I hope our Purchasing and HR people will provide the needs of the operations group so that at the end of the year, when we meet our target sales, we’ll have profit sharing. Everybody happy! :)

Reminiscing High School Days

I was talking to a high school friend the other day. At first we were talking about our families and then our conversation was led to high school days. We talked about our schoolmates and we even talked about the fad during that time. I remember there was a branded shirt with frog as logo that most of our schoolmates wore. And then there’s this school socks that is really cute but since we were run by nuns, they did not allow us to wear it. There was even one student who was called by the principal because she was wearing that socks and was also wearing a gold anklet. I can’t remember what happened to our schoolmate. Anyway, my friend and I enjoyed reminiscing those days. We were laughing so hard when we finished our conversation. It’s really fun remembering those times when we were still young (not that we’re not young anymore! hehe!)

Pregnancy Blues

There are 4 of us pregnant in the office right now. One will give birth on August, one on September, me on October and the last one on December. The one who’ll give birth on December gained a lot already and she was telling us that as early as now, she’s thinking of how to lose weight after giving birth. We advised her to be conscious of what she eats now. Not only will it help her not to gain weight but at the same time will lessen the possibility of her having a CS. Anyhow, the three of us are all giving birth to a baby girl and we hope and pray that we’ll have a safe and easy delivery. :)
