First Time

I remember Lance’s first time to ride the horse. We went to the zoo and when he saw the horse he said he wanted to ride on it. And so we paid but he started crying when he was on the horse already so I have no choice but to join him. Here we are riding the horse:

It should have been Paul riding with him but then the horse is small and I’m scared it can’t carry both of them hehe! But I’m telling you, it’s quite uncomfortable riding on it. I think we both need breeches to enjoy it more. But just the same, it brought joy to my son and there’s nothing more I can ask for. J

Lance

Here’s his latest picture that will be used for his school ID. I can’t imagine I now have a pre-schooler! I can still remember when he was born, he has jaundice that he needs to stay for more bilirubin lights and further observations; to playing at the Little Gym; and then just last January was confined at the hospital with pulse oximeter attached to him; and now he’s going to preschool! Really, how soon time flies! This is a new chapter in his life and I really hope he enjoys school.

School Time

I’ve mentioned in my other blog that I enrolled Lance for pre-school already. I’d rather not talk about how much the tuition fee is because I think I’m going to faint just by thinking about it. Anyhow, I’m glad the tuition fee covers everything that I don’t need to find someone who sell textbooks and other materials. Tuition fee includes uniform, school materials, field trip and other activities. What I’m looking for now is the school service that will take Lance to school. I hope to find one soon.

Carribean Hotels

I am in desperate need of a vacation! Stress levels are way off the roof. Besides, I haven’t had a real and proper vacation in such a long time. I think I deserve one right about now especially that it’s summertime. If I had a chance to decide where to spend my next vacation, it would nowhere else but the beautiful Caribbean. Who wouldn’t want to stay in fancy caribbean hotels and just enjoying life? There’s nothing like the surf, sand, and the sun. The perfect day would be relaxing in the beach under a parasol by one of the Ocho Rios hotels with a drink in one hand.
There’s just so many things to do there like lounge by the pool, or go and try the water sports and activities like snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, scuba diving, then perhaps a soothing and relaxing spa treatment right after. That would just be heavenly, don’t you think? Let’s not forget the duty-free shopping and the arts and crafts and the sightseeing tours to the Dunn’s River Falls, Fern Gully to the White River to take in a new culture. There’s nothing like a trip to the Caribbean and staying in all inclusive hotels with their spacious and tasteful accommodations overlooking the beach and the blue Caribbean. And with Ocho Rios being a tourist-friendly town and as a port of call for cruise ships, I’m sure you’ll never run out of things to see and do. Now that would be one perfect vacation.

Hiring

As mentioned in my previous post, 2 of my colleagues from the same department resigned. One colleague will start her new work in a new organization on Tuesday while the other one just submitted her resignation effective by the end of the month. She will try her luck in another country and will leave on the first week of June. Anyhow, when I saw their boss’s reaction on the day the second accountant filed her resignation, you can’t say from her face if she’s mad or sad. But I’m sure it will result to having wrinkles that she might need a prototype 37c when it starts showing. Anyhow, they were turning over their accountabilities and other responsibilities to the ones left behind while HR is still searching for their replacement. I hope they find one soon for I’m sure this will hamper their support to the sales group.
