Trip to Batangas

Last Saturday, my sister, my mom, the kids and I all went to Batangas because my mom wants to spend Holy Week there with my dad.  Paul cannot go with us that day because he needs to go to work. Anyway, it was a fun trip as there is no traffic and the kids enjoyed staying there even just for a little while.  We even went to what the kids call the mini zoo where there are geese, dogs, birds, cats, and chickens owned by my aunt.  My dad loves to go to there too and take care of these animals and at the same time look after his newly planted mahogany trees. J
I really love staying in the province; too bad we need to go back home after lunch.  Hannah said that she will go with us again if we go back there. I guess she really enjoyed it! :)

Big TV

That’s what my kids call our new tv.  They’ve been used to the conventional CRT type TV that when this was delivered they were so happy and called it the big TV.  Funny thing though is that it is still in our bedroom since we haven’t bought a tv stand for it.  We tried to look for a stand that we like at a nearby mal but we haven’t found anything yet.  They have plenty of standsandmounts dvd cabinets, but they don’t have the tv stand that we are looking for and most importantly the one that fits our budget hehe.  Hopefully before the Holy Week comes, we will finally be able to buy a tv stand. :)

Alex's 7th Birthday!

We recently attended Alex’s Rock Party at Valle Verde.  Thanks to Mich who invited us to join them in the celebration.  As usual my kids had a great time.  It was a simple party but it was so much fun.  All the kids that are present are very happy.  Jives again was a hit and my kids especially Hannah enjoyed dancing. Happy birthday again Alex!

MOA Eye

Paul had a free time last Saturday and he said he wanted to take the kids out.  Since his officemate will have his son baptized in Shrine of Jesus near MOA, he said we will just attend the baptism at church then skip the reception and let the kids do whatever they want.
Surprisingly, Hannah said we should try riding the big Ferris wheel and Lance agreed.  So Paul and I came with them.  I really don’t fear heights but that ride was one of the scariest I’d felt in a long time.  It wasn’t really about the height but about our safety.  We were so high that what entered my mind was what if there was a mechanical problem and every one of us is there.  So scared I was that I was teary eyed when we were at the very top and my kids were telling me not to be scared and that it’s ok. J
Thankfully, nothing happened and we were able to go down safely.  My kids really love it and would like to repeat the ride but we told them we can do it again some other time.  I’m not sure if I can handle riding the Ferris wheel 2x a day. :D

Grocery Time

Every other week is our schedule for grocery.  Normally, Hannah and I go to the grocery together with my mom for the senior citizen discount.  Yesterday my sister went with us also for she needs to have her laptop charger repair.
There were several samples of new food and other stuff yesterday at the grocery.  There were different flavors of chicken nuggets, hotdogs and even milk.  There were also wines, tatuaje cigars, and laundry soap.  I remember Paul saying that if you tried all the sample food at the grocery, you’ll end up full already when you’re done. Lol!  Anyway, I hope that the snacks we bought for the kids will be enough until our next grocery schedule.  Sometimes, they get too fond of eating that they keep on getting food at their snack box. :)
