Well, I didn’t have much activity last holy week. We went to dampa last Wednesday for lunch, last hurrah daw before magpenitensiya. And as always, sobrang happy na naman ako sa food, di siyempre mawawala ang buttered shrimp! Yummy!!! Hehehe!
Holy Thursday, my sister and I just stayed home. We fixed our closet and arranged our clothes. I kept the clothes that I can’t wear for now because I’m pregnant and I set aside the clothes that I really can’t wear anymore. Maybe I can give it to my sis-in-law for her garage sale or I can also give it to some people in our province. Those clothes still look nice and I used it once or twice only.
Good Friday, I drove to my brother’s house. Was left alone at home because my sister went to the province for the 4km Alay-Lakad. Since I can’t walk that far anymore and since they’ll go back to Manila that day also, I stayed at my brother’s house na lang and played with my pamangkins.
Black Saturday, I’m still at my brother’s house. Did not go home anymore since mas madaming food sa house ng kuya ko. hehehe! And he also asked me to scan some pics that we need to use for our get-together on april 22.
Easter Sunday, woke up at 4:30am because we’ll be going to Batangas to attend the Easter mass and to celebrate our lola’s 95th bday. Well, she’s not really our lola and I don’t know how are we related to her but since we’re a close-knit family, everyone is like a member of the family. So I drove to our house at Fort Bonifacio to pick up my sister. Convoy kami ng kuya ko then when we arrived at Fort, parked the car and transfer to my Kuya’s car then went to Batangas na. We arrived there at 8:30 and rested for awhile. The mass will start at 9:30 then lunch na at our lola’s house. It was really a very happy event. Very seldom do I meet people reaching that age. My lola (my dad’s mom) died at the age of 92 or 93 and Lola Ingga is already 95 and can still walk although with cane. We can see in her face that she’s really happy. Happy birthday Lola Ingga!!!
That’s about it! Was just happy with what happened last week. Was able to rest, read a good book (I bought a book called “What to Expect When You’re Expecting). It’s really very informative and I’m glad I bought that book. At the same time, I was able to reflect and have a quiet time with God during the Holy Week. :)
