The Journey Continues...

Right now, I’m starting a new one on inventory management. There are several non-moving and slow moving items in our warehouse that I need work on. I’m thinking of selling the non-moving items at a discounted price or ask the suppliers if they allow buy-back. There are several items there such as used cisco routers, telephone sets, radios, etc. Other than those steps, I also need to think of ways on how to prevent them from happening again. I really do hope I’ll be able to finish my project and get that certification. Wish me luck! :)

I hope this one will stay for at least more than a year. The last staff I got left even before I went back from my maternity leave. I think she only lasted for 6 months. I really don’t know the reason why she left because I was not able to talk to her. Anyhow, I hope this one will stay and will really help in accomplishing our department’s plan for the year. :)

Have you ever tried the lottery? I often wonder how it will feel if I got the Wining lottery numbers. I’m sure I’ll be ecstatic. I remember when my mom is still here, she sometimes asks me for Lottery numbers to bet. Maybe she thinks I’m lucky! Unfortunately, I haven’t given her any Wining lottery number. Whenever she does win, all the numbers were those that came from her and not the ones I suggested. Next time if she still wants to try the lottery, I’ll ask her if she wants to do it online. I’ve found a site where there’s a nice design, not complicated especially for my mom who’s not into computers, and the winning opportunities are great. Hopefully this time, she’ll win! :)

Just recently, I had to replace the light on our bathroom because it was busted. So off I went to the local hardware store to buy a replacement bulb. When I got there, I saw several bathroom lighting and fixtures available. Since I was already in the store, I checked them out. A lot of them were really cool. It would make your bathroom look on par with luxury hotels. They were really lovely to have at home. Maybe in the future. We’ll see.

If I were to have my way, I’d have another computer here at home to serve different purposes. I’d have one that’ll function as a proxy server, another pc that’s always turned on and connected to the internet, another system for games and multimedia, and another one for regular use. Normally, a similar setup would occupy a lot of space, but not if you use a KVM. That would let you use several computer systems but using the same Keyboard, Video monitor and Mouse. Instead of having separate keyboards and monitors and mice for each pc, you just use one of each, and you don’t have to unplug and plug it back in either. It does that in just a couple of keystrokes. Now that’s a real space and energy saver.

While I was waiting for my turn at the clinic, I talked to one of the patients there and she told me that she’ll ask the dermatologist for natural acne treatment. She has some acne on her back and she wants it removed the best and easiest way. I hope the derma was able to help her and gave her what she wants. We don’t want to have acne in our body right?

I just started in my new job this week, and have been talking to several of my new colleagues there. They all had something in common; they all love electronic gadgets, whether personal or for home use. Well, I guess if you do work in the electronics industry, the bug really is going to bite you. Not that it hasn’t bitten me (it already had several ago), I just didn’t pay much attention. But anyway, if I were to give in, I already have a wishlist when it comes to these. I’d start with a HDTV, home theater system, DVR, universal remote control, and the list goes on. Just writing about it makes me want to give in.

Yes Toni, I have read that post, and like you, I also want (or should I say “need”) a vacation. Yes it’s true that we haven’t taken a proper family vacation since Lance came, not to mention another one coming up. That’s why I’d like our first family vacation to be really special. My ideal vacation for us would be at the Caribbean. For at least a week. There are several companies that have Caribbean villa rentals. So with regards to my approval on vacations, you’d hear no objections from me. Now if I could only find a way to pay for it…

Every summer, I always want to go out of town and relax for a few days. Now that Paul has a new job that has normal working hours, I am planning of having a family vacation since we really haven’t had one ever since Lance was born. I was even teasing him of bringing us to some luxury vacations. Who knows, he might approve and will send us to one. So Paul, I hope you’re reading this. :)

We recently had to buy a new faucet for our dirty kitchen. As I think about it, I really have no idea why they call it dirty kitchen. It isn’t a kitchen, and it sure isn’t dirty. Well, if you’re reading this, I guess you know what I mean. Anyway, when I got back home after purchasing a replacement faucet, I saw that the new faucet for the dirty kitchen was much much nicer than the faucet we have in our bathroom which led me to think that I should buy more fixtures and bathroom vanities to redeem it from its lowly status as compared to the dirty kitchen. Or I could do it the easy way and just swap faucets. Hmmmm…
