Water Bottle

My sister has been looking for a water bottle for the longest time.  She likes the water bottle that I have but finds it too expensive.  Thankfully, I got this water bottle as a prize in one of the contests I joined.  She was advised by her doctor to take lots of fluid that's why she's been searching for the perfect water bottle for her.
As I was browsing the net, I saw the gatorade water bottles and I think this is what my sister is looking for.  It is light, can carry a good amount of water and not costly.  I'll recommend this to her and see if she'll like it. J

Sanuk and Fit Flop Sale

My sister told me about this sale and I was really looking forward to it.  Thankfully we were able to go there last Sunday and were able to score really nice shoes at a very cheap price.  I remember the Sanuk I got for Lance was really cheap and I was so happy with it.  I saw the same shoes when we went to duty free and at that time we really would like to buy it but they don't have his size.  Thankfully we didn't buy it because they have the same style at the sale at a much cheaper cost.  I was able to buy something for myself as well and I'm currently using it now.  J

Yoga

Since I can't run for now because of aching knee (I posted this in another blog), I don't really have an exercise for now.  I was thinking of doing yoga since it's an exercise that doesn't require me to run or stress my knees too much.  I am browsing http://everythingyoga.com see if this is really for me.  Hopefully I'll be able to find an exercise that will help me not only to lose weight but to move my body as well. J

Kobe's 7th Birthday

My cousin has been telling me that Lance will be attending a lot of parties this year since most of his classmates, including him, will turn 7.  Kobe's birthday is the 1st one he attended.

It was held at the Corinthians Hills Clubhouse last Father's Day and I decided to go with Lance while Paul and Hannah went out to the mall.  Paul said Hannah is his father's day date. J

Anyway, it was a swimming party and Lance had a great time swimming despite the rainy weather.  They swam for an hour before the actual party started.  He had a great time with his classmates and he even won some really nice prizes.

I, on the other hand, had a great time talking to fellow mommies and getting to know them as well.  I also enjoyed watching Leodini's magic show and it was really superb!

Insecticides

I had this nasty bite last week on my back which I didn't know where I got.  It was really itchy!  I asked the kids nanny to take a picture of it and I got scared when I saw it.  There are like 3 portions in my back where it's all red and eiiww according to my daughter. 
The following day, I visited a dermatologist to show to her and she told me that those could be insect bites or from ants that got in my clothes.  She advised me to shake off my clothes before wearing them and at the same time spray tengard insecticide in the room for 30 minutes before we enter it.  Also she told me to tell our nanny to check the area where she hang our clothes to dry because there might be insects there.

She prescribed some medication and ointment for my back and it's getting better now.  It's not itchy anymore and it's not as inflamed as it used to though it's still red.  My husband said that it's getting better and I need not worry anymore. J

Father's Day

This Sunday is Father's day already.  We don't know yet how and where we will celebrate it and I really haven't planned very well for it, my bad.  We used to celebrate Father's Day by checking in a hotel since it's also near our wedding anniversary but for this year we decided not to book a hotel.  We might just eat somewhere but I still don't know where.  I'm sure we need to reserve early for there will be lots of families who will eat out. Hopefully I'll find a nice restaurant when I search the net later. J

Ouchie Back

I’ve been having some problems with me back for a couple of days now.  Yes I feel like I’m getting old already arrgghh… In my previous post I mentioned about being flat footed and now I’m complaining about having back pains.  I don’t know maybe I just need a good and regular exercise.
Anyway, a friend suggested that maybe I should get cushion and pillows for support to my aching back.  She said that she used to have that feeling but when she got support cushion for her back, the pain lessen until eventually it was gone.  I hope I’ll be able to find the cushion perfect for my back. :)

Flat Footed

Yup that’s me.  I didn’t know that I was until I visited an orthopaedic surgeon / sports medicine doctor this afternoon.  I have some very bad ache on my knees and feet for a couple of months now that I decided to have my knees get an x-ray.  This was around last week of April and the result scared me because there it said that I need to start considering degenerative joint disease for both my knees.  This really scared me because I felt like I was too young for this.  I visited one doctor and he said I need to have a therapy but still I am not convinced so I decided to visit another one which was this afternoon.  I was really glad when he told me that I really am too young to have degenerative joint disease.  He asked me to step forward and bend my knees when I do that and that’s when I learned I was flat footed.  He told me not to worry but to start using arch support with my shoes.  I still have to check how much it costs but at least it said I am ok already.  He said that I also need to invest on good running shoes so I can start running again.  So now I need to save one for that. J
